Qualifications

• 3 years + relevant experience (post trade).
• Ability to write software - advantageous.

Ability to improve downstream line control

Ability to set up VSD

Education

N4 & TRADE TESTED Electrician

S4/T4 with minimum of 6 years Electrical PLC & Instrumentation experience

PLC Expert Electrician

Our client, based in KZN is focused on designing and manufacturing eco-friendly rigid plastic packaging solutions for food, beverage, and industrial sectors. With a strong presence in southern Africa through over 40 manufacturing plants and an extensive distribution network, they are committed to being your preferred partner in sustainable packaging.

They are looking for a qualified & Expert PLC Electrician

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum N4 & TRADE TESTED Electrician with PLC/Servo Drive/AC Drives & Instrumentation knowledge

OR/ S4/T4 with a minimum of 6 years Electrical PLC & Instrumentation experience OR/ BSc Electrical Engineering Degree

AND

• 3 years + relevant experience (post trade)
• PLC fault finding experience & the ability to read/understand ladder diagrams (Alan Bradley and SiemansS7)
• Ability to write software – advantageous
• Ability to improve downstream line control & program basic programmable relays
• Ability to set up VSD
