Job summary

Betway Group in Johannesburg is seeking a dynamic marketing promotions specialist to own the end-to-end delivery of in-country opening offers, retention campaigns and casino/game launches. You’ll collaborate with marketing, in-country teams and the creative unit to ensure timely, relevant and compliant communications across SMS and email.

You’ll analyse campaign results, test new ideas, and translate insights into concrete improvements while maintaining brand consistency across the player

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement opening offers and promotions across channels.
• Collaborate with marketing and in-country teams for relevance and localisation.
• Maintain and communicate existing welcome offers effectively.
• Coordinate promotions for unconverted segments and ad hoc campaigns.
• Update calendars and information portals for campaigns and calendar events.
• Execute promotions on SMS/Email and create bonuses as needed.
• Innovate and apply learnings to future campaigns.
• Ensure brand consistency across the player lifecycle with retention teams.

Responsibilities

• Acquisition Opening Offer Strategies and Implementation Ongoing in-country competitor analysis
• Work closely with marketing and in-country teams to ensure relevance and localisation of opening offers
• Ongoing maintenance of all existing welcome offers and their appropriate/effective communication
• Conversion Strategies and Implementation
• Coordinating and briefing in of adhoc promotions for the unconverted space with Creative Updating of confluence page for monthly / sport / casino calendar, adhoc promotions, conversion track info, welcome offers, competitor analysis, any relevant information the team may need on this platform to refer back to
• Execution of promotions on all communication platforms (SMS/Email), when needed, which may also include bonus creation (Sport and Casino)
• Ongoing innovation and implementation of new ideas which address specific markets / gaming platforms / seasons / fixtures
• Work with the Retention Team to ensure brand consistency throughout the player lifecycle as well as leverage off Retention campaigns by selecting relevant ones to enhance the existing conversion track or as part of your ad hoc communication strategy
• New Casino Games communication – delivering on time and functional communication to promote new games to the unconverted base
• Focus on deliverability on all communication platforms
• Processes and Operations Result analysis including tests / campaigns outcomes, processes assessment and learnings
• Assessment and implementation of new learnings / approaches to subsequent campaigns
• Effective communication of results with your team members and execution of new learnings

• Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
• Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies
• Familiarity with working on CRM platforms
• Experience working across multiple markets or regions
• Data-driven mindset with proven ability to translate insights into action
