Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a seasoned Platform Engineer to own production Kubernetes clusters, automate infrastructure, and ensure high availability in Azure cloud. You will develop Helm charts, manage Terraform workflows, and build CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps in a scalable, secure environment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in platform or SRE roles, strong Linux and networking skills, and a track record of incident response and cost optimization in large cloud deployments.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in Platform/Infrastructure/SRE roles.
  • Strong Kubernetes production experience (CKA advantageous).
  • Experience with Terraform managing Azure infra.
  • Azure DevOps CI/CD経験.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage production Kubernetes clusters with high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Manage cluster lifecycle, node pools, autoscaling, quotas, namespaces, and RBAC policies.
  • Administer multi-cluster environments using Rancher.
  • Develop and maintain Helm charts across environments.
  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Manage Azure infrastructure with Terraform and IaC best practices.
  • Maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability platforms.
  • Lead incident response, RCAs, and post-mortems.
  • Implement infra improvements to reduce single points of failure.
  • Optimize platform performance and cloud costs.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities


  • Own and manage production Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

  • Manage cluster lifecycle, node pools, autoscaling, resource quotas, namespaces, and RBAC policies.

  • Administer multi-cluster environments using Rancher.

  • Develop and maintain Helm charts across multiple environments.

  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

  • Manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices.

  • Maintain and improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability platforms.

  • Lead production incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortems.

  • Implement infrastructure improvements to eliminate single points of failure.

  • Optimise platform performance, resource utilisation, and cloud costs.

  • Partner closely with development teams to improve deployment processes and platform reliability.


Requirements


  • 4+ years' experience in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

  • Strong production Kubernetes experience (CKA certification advantageous).

  • Extensive Terraform experience managing Azure infrastructure.

  • Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

  • Proficiency in Go, Python, or Bash scripting.

  • Strong Linux administration skills.

  • Solid networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, routing, ingress controllers, and service mesh fundamentals.

  • Hands-on production support, incident response, and on-call experience.


Advantageous Experience


  • Rancher multi-cluster management.

  • Helm chart development and release management.

  • Kubernetes Cluster Autoscaler.

  • Microsoft Azure (AKS, Networking, Key Vault, Storage).

  • Azure Key Vault or HashiCorp Vault.

  • Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or similar observability platforms.

  • Windows Server administration.
