Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Botany, Plant Science, Biology or related field.
• 1–2 years in a research laboratory environment, preferably with plants.
• Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
• Experience with plant care, greenhouse operations, or field studies is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow protocols precisely.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and executing plant growth experiments (planting, cultivation, harvesting).
• Perform lab tasks such as sample prep, DNA extraction, and molecular assays.
• Collect and organize experimental data using designated systems.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies and plant growth facilities.
• Analyze plant tissues and extracts using standard lab techniques.
• Contribute to data interpretation and report preparation under supervision.
