Job description

To safely manufacture bituminous emulsifiers and products, the following responsibilities are required:

1. Offload raw material tankers into storage tanks.
2. Conduct raw material and finished product stock takes (dips).
3. Manufacture bituminous products.
4. Transfer bituminous products to finished product tanks and mix for the specified period.
5. Take representative samples during the manufacturing process and send them to the laboratory.
6. Check vehicle tanks as per flushing matrix to prevent product contamination.
7. Load hauler and distributor trucks with product and ensure correct quantity as per loading instructions.
8. Take representative samples for delivery to clients and record keeping.
9. Fill drums to the correct mass and secure with a drum spanner.
10. Transport drums to the finished product area using a forklift.
11. Record stock levels of filled drums.
12. Maintain housekeeping in the plant.
