Plant / Manufacturing Electrician (Plc Faultfinding)

Position: Plant / Manufacturing Electrician

Location: Mthatha (Eastern Cape)

Salary: Rneg + Benefits + Company Housing

Minimum Requirements:

1. GRADE 12
2. ELECTRICIAN TRADE TEST
3. 5+ YEARS MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE (Advantage Plant / Forestry) (no MINE ELECTRICIANS!!!)

Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance on all electrical equipment
2. Fault finding and repair on all electrical equipment
3. Perform changes to base documentation i.e., manuals, P&ID and all instrumentation drawings
4. Identify and inform Team Leader of any health or safety hazards in the plant
5. Perform after-hour standby duty on the plant

Skills:

1. Computer literate
2. Basic PLC and SCADA knowledge (Allen Bradley and Siemens)
3. Basic Frequency drive knowledge (Allen Bradley and SEW)
4. Good understanding of processes
5. Commitment to company vision, values, and core philosophies
