Job description

Siqalo Foods - Plant Controller

Siqalo Foods is seeking a Plant Controller to join their Spreads Division. The role will be based in Boksburg and report to the Production Shift Manager.

The Plant Controller is responsible for supporting the Production Shift Manager in driving compliance of quality systems and production management in the factory. This includes taking full accountability of the shift in the absence of the Production Shift Manager and following all required protocols and procedures, including legislated requirements. The role also involves supporting end-to-end processes and systems when required, and carrying out any lawful duties assigned, which may include supporting Co-mans. This position is based in the factory.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring efficient and effective execution of tasks and activities within the shift, from packaging to FG warehouse.
2. Controlling and managing all quality and food safety, operational responsibilities within the shift, primarily in packaging but not limited to the entire plant facility.
3. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, legislations, and business requirements of the Manufacturing team.
