Job description

Our Client in the manufacturing sector, is looking for a Pipe Fitter for a 3-month contract

• Grade 12
• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in pipe fitting in a manufacturing environment
• Able to read and understand drawings

Responsibilities

• Fit and cut stainless steel pipes
• Align pipes during the assembly and secure pipes to structures using brackets and clamps
• Cut, thread, and prepare pipes to specifications using machine tools or hand tools
• Gather all components
• Once welding is completed check and repair leaks, perform system inspections, and ensure that piping systems comply with safety standards
• Interpret drawings to determine layout structures
• Promote and maintain awareness and compliance of health and safety in accordance with company policy
