Job summary

A global leader in geospatial services is seeking experienced Survey Pilots to join their Operations Team in Johannesburg, South Africa. The role involves extensive fieldwork supporting geospatial and aerial survey missions. Candidates must hold a valid Commercial Pilot's License, have a minimum of 1,000 flight hours, and be flexible for extended field assignments. Qualifications

• Must have a valid CPL with a current medical certificate.
• At least 1,000 hours of total flight time is required.
• Current night and instrument rating is essential.
• Must be flexible to work up to 6 weeks away from base.

Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive fieldwork for aerial survey operations.
• Support Woolpert's geospatial missions across various locations.
• Collaborate with geospatial teams to process and integrate aerial data.

Woolpert Africa is looking for experienced and mission-readySurvey Pilots to join our dynamic Operations Team. Based in South Africa, this role involves extensive fieldwork across various locations, supporting Woolpert’s geospatial and aerial survey missions.

• Valid Commercial Pilot’s License (CPL) with a current medical certificate
• Minimum 1,000 hours total flight time
• Current night and instrument rating
• Must be flexible to work away from base for up to 6 weeks at a time

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• Type-rated on twin-engine aircraft
• Experience flying turbine aircraft
• Prior survey flight experience is advantageous
• Completion of the following short courses:
• CRM (Crew Resource Management)
• DG (Dangerous Goods)
• SEPT (Safety and Emergency Procedures Training)
• SMS (Safety Management Systems) – advantageous
