Job summary

Kabstrading Co in Cape Town is seeking a reliable Order Fulfilment operative to ensure accurate picking and packing of customer orders.

You will pick stock, check quantities, report deviations, inspect for damage, and maintain orderly, safe packing areas in line with SOPs.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse/picking is preferred.
• Able to read pick slips and identify correct stock.
• Good counting and numeric accuracy.
• Willingness to follow SOPs and housekeeping rules.

Responsibilities

• Pick stock in accordance with Pick Slip.
• Ensure correct stock and quantity from correct location.
• Handover to Packing team with proper documentation.
• Inspect products for damages and correct stock numbers.
• Report deviations to Supervisor and Inventory Team.
• Keep orders clearly identifiable when handed over to Packing.
• Maintain housekeeping and adherence to SOPs.

Profile

• Pick stock in accordance with Pick Slip
• Ensure correct stock and quantity is picked from correct location
• Ensure proper hand over is done to Packing team
• Check products for damages, correct quantity as well as correct stock number
• Report all deviations found to Supervisor
• Ensure all orders are clearly identifiable when handed over to Packing team
• Inspect stock for damages and any other quality defects
• All such defects need to be reported to the Supervisor
• Any stock shortages / wrong bin location needs to be reported to the Supervisor/ Inventory Team.
• Any other reasonable task required by client or Supervisor / Manager
• Adherence to all warehouse SOP's
• Housekeeping.
