Main Purpose of The Role:
  • Commercial Support – Customer Visibility and Implementation
  • Strategic Implementation Project Lead
  • Internal Projects and Process Improvements (Best Practice)
  • Internal & External Training – Customer Visibility tools
  • System Super user and Application support
  • Business Implementation Manager responsibility on EDI projects
  • Reporting analyst for special customer reporting requirements
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 – 7 years' Systems and Process / analyst experience in a Logistics environment. Preference for Senior Systems and Processes.
  • Consideration for Operational / Supervisory roles in Operations or Account Management with suitable technical acumen and exposure to Systems.
  • Matric (essential).
  • Advantageous to have industry-level or tertiary qualifications.
Technical Skills:
  • Cargowise or related Industry TMS, Microsoft Dynamics / CRM software
  • Purchase Order Management Systems / Customer Visibility platforms
  • Power BI, Understanding of EDI and API technologies and disciplines
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Sales support for Customer Applications and Value Added services such as Purchase Order Management, Customer Visibility, online bookings, Connectivity Solutions, and advanced customer reporting
  • Customer Innovation and Continuous Improvement Initiatives
  • Maintenance and enhancements of Customer Applications (Super user)
  • Project Management on strategic Implementation projects nationally
  • First-line support to the National team – maintenance, setup, change management, error resolution
  • Document Development for training and Implementation according to standard best practices
  • Internal and External training on Customer Applications, Connectivity, and Reporting
  • Supporting continuous Improvement and process improvement initiatives related to Internal or External processes
  • Lead and coordinate strategic customer implementations within Division or Cross-divisional projects
  • Engage with the Global Network and teams for effective implementation of origin/destination requirements
  • Monitor, manage, and track all major implementation projects, including scope, deadlines, and costs, using project management software
  • Coordinate and project manage customer EDI / API integrations, including customer engagement, scope, costing, and User Acceptance Testing
  • Contribute to content and maintenance of templates, Work Instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Assist in creating and presenting Training Material on a national level as it applies to Implementation, EDI, specialized reporting & Order Management best practices
  • Create Product awareness and reinforce best practices
