PathCare Wilmedpark in Klerksdorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician with proven phlebotomy competency and strong ethics. You will join a team at our Wilmedpark branch, contributing to patient care and pathology workflows.

The ideal candidate must be Phlebotomy Technician qualified and HPCSA registered, with valid Code B driver's license. English fluency with Afrikaans understanding is preferred, and willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is essential.

Job description

An opportunity exists for a Phlebotomy Technician to join the team at our Wilmedpark branch in Klerksdorp. We are seeking an individual who displays a proven track record of competence in Phlebotomy and who has a high level of ethics and integrity while consistently aligning with the PathCare values.

Key Competency Requirements

• Phlebotomy Technician qualification and registered with HPCSA
• Computer literate with Meditech knowledge is advantageous
• Phlebotomy experience essential
• Must have a valid Code B driver’s license (manual transmission)
• Pathology experience is highly advantageous which includes order of draw and running of Point of Care instruments i.e. Hemocue, Stratus & running of arterial blood gas on the machine.
