South African National Blood Service in Roodepoort seeks a Phlebotomist to collect quality safe blood, meeting targets. The role requires current HPCSA registration and CPR, with a permanent contract in the Egoli South Mobile 4 unit.

The ideal candidate will perform donor screening, phlebotomy per SOPs, and contribute to efficient clinic operations, with willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Current HPCSA registration as a Phlebotomist.
• CPR certification current and renewal as required.
• Driver's license code 8 or 10 and ability to drive a company vehicle.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends and variable hours.

Responsabilités

• Assists in efficient clinic preparation and closure to achieve blood collection targets.
• Ensure that donor registrations are undertaken professionally, accurately, promptly and in a friendly manner.
• Undertakes Basic Physical Check/Assessment to correctly assess donor suitability for donations.
• Ensure that phlebotomy procedures are undertaken professionally according to SOPs in a friendly manner.
• General Administrative duties.
