Clicks Group Limited Polokwane City Centre is seeking a Pharmacist Assistant QPB to provide dispensing support and customer service under supervision of the Pharmacy Manager. The role involves preparing prescriptions, advising customers on medicine use, and maintaining SOPs.

Responsibilities include filing prescriptions, assisting with compounding non-sterile substances, ordering medicines, managing stock and expiry dates, and completing administration and reports while upholding SAPC

Qualifications

• Essential: FE&T Certificate Pharmacist Assistant.
• Experience in dispensing patient prescriptions within scope of practice.
• Experience in a retail pharmacy and familiarity with SOPs and SAPC guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Assess, prepare and pack prescriptions in line with SOPs, GPP, and customer service standards.
• Advise customers on the appropriate use of medicine.
• File prescriptions correctly according to SOPs.
• Provide professional service and accurate information within scope of practice.
• Assist with compounding/manipulation of non-sterile or scheduled substances per SOPs.
• Order medicines up to and including Schedule 6 as instructed by the on-duty pharmacist.
• Maintain stock levels and check expiry dates per SOPs.
• Execute housekeeping and display merchandising per Pharmacy Efficiency Principles.
• Handle pharmacy-related administration and reports per scope of practice.
