Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking a Pharmacist Assistant to provide dispensing support and customer service in a busy pharmacy environment. The role operates under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager/ Pharmacist and aims to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities include preparing prescriptions, advising customers, filing documents, managing stock, and complying with SAPC regulations while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

Customer service orientation and service quality.
Ability to follow SOPs and SOP guidelines.
Experience in dispensing within scope of practice.
Pharmacist assistant responsibilities and duties.
Knowledge of SAPC regulations and ethics.

Responsibilities

To assess, prepare and pack prescriptions per SOPs and GPP principles.
To advise customers on medicine use.
To file prescriptions according to SOPs.
To provide professional service and accurate information.
To assist with compounding/non-sterile preparation per SOPs.
To manage medicine stock and expiry dates per SOPs.
To maintain housekeeping and display in the pharmacy.
To handle pharmacy administration and reports within scope of practice.
To comply with SAPC regulations and ethics.
