Job description

The Pharmacy Stores Clerk is responsible for the upkeep of the Pharmacy Surgical stores by receiving stock, storing it, and distributing it to the internal users.

Key Responsibilities

1. Receiving stock
2. Bar-coding surgical stock
3. Packing surgical stock on shelves
4. Replenishing stock to all wards
5. Conducting cyclical counts
6. Assisting wards with stock queries
7. Communicating with wards about out-of-stock items
8. Ensuring the orderly upkeep of stock in the pharmacy stores
9. Participating in the buying of surgical stock

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (preferred)
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge and experience with any stock management system (SAP will be an added advantage)
• SAP working knowledge is advantageous
