Job description

A Leading Pharmaceutical Company is seeking a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to sell and promote their products to pharmacies within the Mainline of KZN regions, including Newcastle.

Responsibilities
  1. Implement and execute all agreed strategic activities in accordance with the company's sales strategy.
  2. Provide pharmacy training.
  3. Visit and liaise with relevant target clients as per the allocated and agreed customer list.
  4. Effectively implement customer relationship management (REPWISE), including customer segmentation, pre- and post-call planning, activity execution, call reports, needs analysis, motivation, vendor applications, time management, customer training, and related activities.
  5. Maintain a database of all target clients with relevant information.
  6. Collaborate with the Sales Manager on business opportunities in the territory.
  7. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  8. Compile, reconcile, and submit monthly sales reports as per deadlines.
  9. Utilize internal resources effectively to meet sales targets.
Minimum Requirements
  • Matric with evidence of completing a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree.
  • Existing relationships with pharmacies within the KZN mainline region (essential).
  • Experience with Front Shop products.
  • Attention to detail, good interpersonal skills, discipline, assertiveness, and sound time management.
  • Ability to work under pressure, use initiative, and think proactively.
  • Organizational skills to plan activities independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
