Job description

A Leading Pharmaceutical Company is seeking a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to sell and promote their products to pharmacies within the Mainline of KZN regions, including New Castle.

  • Implementation and execution of all agreed strategic activities in accordance with the sales strategy of the company
  • Provide Pharmacy Trainings
  • Personally, visiting and liaising with the relevant target clients as per the allocated and agreed customer list.
  • Effectively implement customer relationship management (REPWISE), customer target segmentation, customer pre- and post-call planning, activity planning and execution, call reports, customer needs analysis, customer motivation, vendor applications, time management, customer training and all other related customer relationship activities.
  • Compiling and maintaining a data-base of all agreed target clients with information details pertinent to all clients on an ongoing basis.
  • Liaising with the Sales Manager with respect to the effective evaluation, exploitation and implementation of various business opportunities in the designated territory.
  • Ensure that all the position’s sales targets, monthly and annually, are achieved.
  • Compiling, reconciliation and submission of monthly sales reports related to the position. These reports must be submitted as per agreed timelines.
  • Ensuring that all internal resources, where needed, are utilised effectively to ensure that sales targets are achieved

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric with evidence of either / Certificate / Diploma / Degree completed
  • Must have existing relationships with Pharmacies within the KZN mainline region (This is essential)
