Job Title: Pharmacy Manager - Diepkloof

Job Location: Gauteng, Soweto

Deadline: August 25, 2025

Job Objectives:
  1. To ensure and provide high standards of pharmaceutical care, accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, and advice in accordance with Clicks’ way of working, good pharmacy practice, and legal scope as outlined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
  2. To efficiently manage and control all operational activities of the dispensary, including stock management, shrinkage, housekeeping, and administration, in line with merchandising, SAPC regulations, and company standards.
  3. To ensure the operational viability of the dispensary through sound financial management, focusing on core dispensary and clinic targets, expense management, and proactive actions.
  4. To develop competent and motivated employees, including learners and interns, through effective selection, leadership, management, and ongoing development to meet current and future business needs.
  5. To schedule staff appropriately according to labor policies, ensuring full staffing, complete weekly time and attendance records, and submission to HR.
  6. To manage customer service initiatives that enhance customer experience, loyalty, and club card participation.
  7. To foster integration and partnership with the clinic and healthcare aisle, providing comprehensive healthcare services to customers.
  8. To support the Group’s vision of being the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by embodying and promoting company values.
  9. To promote cohesion, consistency, and integration between store, pharmacy, and clinic teams.
  10. To cultivate a high-performing business culture that enhances employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and shareholder value.
Experience:
  • Essential: Minimum 2 years’ experience post-community service year
  • Essential: Minimum 1 year People Management experience
