Job description

Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Midrand is seeking a Pharmacy License Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative and regulatory support for pharmacy licensing processes.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage documentation and act as liaison with regulatory bodies such as SAPC and DOH.
  2. Prepare, submit, and monitor pharmacy license applications and renewals in compliance with relevant regulations.
  3. Maintain accurate records of licenses, certificates, and correspondence.
  4. Coordinate inspections, audits, and address non-compliance issues.
  5. Support pharmacy design compliance and collaborate with project teams for licensing standards.
  6. Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements and keep updated on legislative changes.
  7. Assist in preparing documents for inspections and audits.
  8. Manage de-registration processes for closed pharmacies.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration or related field
  • 3-5 years' experience as a pharmacy administrator
  • Knowledge of South African pharmacy regulations and licensing processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance tracking systems
  • Interpersonal and quality orientation skills
Conditions
