Netcare Alberton Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist Intern to provide medication and ancillary services under supervision of a registered Pharmacist. You will dispense prescriptions in hospital and retail settings, advise on drug interactions, storage and general health information, and assist with oncology drug handling and stock management.

This role emphasizes cost-effective patient care, adherence to Netcare policies, and ongoing professional development within a supportive team.

Formación

• Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council.
• B.Pharm degree preferred; computer proficiency in MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Dispense hospital and retail prescriptions under supervision.
• Counsel patients on usage, side effects, storage and interactions.
• Assist with oncology drug preparation and stock management.
• Support cost containment and adherence to pharmacy procedures.
