You will work within hospital and retail settings, ensuring safety and quality in pharmaceutical services. Essential qualifications include registration with SA Pharmacy Council and a B.Pharm degree, plus competence with the Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council.
• B.Pharm degree.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing prescriptions under supervision of a registered Pharmacist.
• Advise patients and staff on medication usage, side effects and storage.
• Assist with oncology drug preparation and pharmaceutical compounding.
• Support stock control, re-ordering and distribution of medicines.
• Monitor cost per event and generic substitution in hospital settings.
• Assist with clinical ward rounds when required.
