Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Provide pharmaceutical care by managing patients’ medicine-related needs, including evaluation, dispensing, and advice.
  • Check and sign prescriptions prepared by assistants or interns, ensuring correctness.
  • Offer information and guidance on medication use.
  • Monitor patient compliance and follow up to meet their medicine-related needs.
  • Initiate therapy and manage compounding, manufacturing, and supervision of medicines.
  • Handle procurement, storage, and distribution of medicines, including registration applications.
  • Interpret prescriptions professionally, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Accurately capture and verify prescription details, ensuring correct medication dispensing.
  • Advise patients on medication use, drug interactions, and medical aid procedures.
  • Follow up on script processing, claims, and patient profiles.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, stock control, and compliance with policies and safety regulations.
