Job summary

Clicks Group in Pretoria is seeking a Pharmacist Assistant QPB to join our Clicks The Grove dispensary. The role focuses on providing pharmaceutical care within scope of practice and ensuring accurate day-to-day dispensary administration.

Responsibilities include delivering high standards of customer service, efficient stock control and repacking, general dispensary administration, and offering health advice while maintaining housekeeping and compliant operations in a busy retail pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Matric with Maths (Essential).
• HPCSA Pharmacist Assistant qualifications (Qualified, Post Basic or Learner Basic).
• Experience in a dispensing environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care within scope of practice.
• Perform day-to-day dispensary administration.
• Maintain stock control and repacking processes.
• Offer general health advice to customers.
• Ensure housekeeping and merchandise presentation standards.

Responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services (within scope of practice) and performing day-to-day dispensary administration according to company's Standard Operating Plans (SOPs).

Job Objectives:

• High standards of customer service and care
• Efficient stock control and administration, including repacking of medicine
• Efficient dispensary administration
• Provision of general health advice

• Ad hoc requirements as per operational requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric with Maths (Essential)
• Minimum requirements of the Health Professions Council of South Africa for the various levels as a Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic and Learner Basic)
