Job summary

Clicks Group is hiring a Pharmacist Assistant to deliver pharmaceutical care within standard operating plans. You will support dispensary administration, maintain accurate stock, and provide general health guidance to customers in a busy retail setting.

The role requires Matric with Maths and SA Pharmacy Council qualifying credentials, with a focus on accuracy, compliance and teamwork to support pharmacy operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Matric with Maths is essential.
• Minimum requirements of the Health Professions Council of SA for Pharmacist Assistant levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care services within SOPs.
• Handle day‑to‑day dispensary administration.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and care.
• Efficient stock control and administration, including repacking of medicine.
• Provide general health advice to customers.
• Maintain housekeeping and proper merchandise display.
• Complete ad hoc operational tasks as required.

Job Objectives:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric with Maths (Essential)
• Minimum requirements of the Health Professions Council of South Africa for the various levels as a Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic and Learner Basic)
