Job summary

Clicks Group in Roodepoort is seeking a Pharmacist Assistant QPB to support day-to-day dispensary administration and customer care. You will assist with dispensing, stock control, and delivering high standards of service in a retail pharmacy.

The role requires HPCSA-aligned qualifications for Pharmacist Assistants and Matric with Maths, with a focus on accuracy, integrity and teamwork in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Matric with Maths (Essential).
• Minimum requirements of HPCSA for Pharmacist Assistant levels (Qualified, Post Basic and Learner Basic).

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care services within SOPs and assist in dispensing and dispensary administration.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, stock control, and merchandise display.
• Offer general health advice and ensure accuracy in calculations and records.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and housekeeping standards.

Responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services (within scope of practice) and performing day-to-day dispensary administration according to company's Standard Operating Plans (SOPs).

Job Objectives:

• High standards of customer service and care
• Efficient stock control and administration, including repacking of medicine

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric with Maths (Essential)
• Minimum requirements of the Health Professions Council of South Africa for the various levels as a Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic and Learner Basic)
