Job Description
Job Objectives
  • Interact professionally with customers, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to SOPs and timelines.
  • Administer scripts and handle claiming/capturing procedures.
  • Manage patient profiles accurately and completely.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Resolve queries and problem-solve effectively.
Duties
  • Communicate with customers regarding medication and healthcare services.
  • Capture scripts received at the central pharmacy accurately.
  • Handle prescription queries and manage patient profiles.
  • Assist with chronic authorization procedures.
  • Coordinate with other departments and handle ad hoc operational requirements.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Product knowledge, including OTC products.
  • Legal knowledge relevant to pharmacy practice.
  • Understanding of chronic authorization processes.
  • Customer service orientation, integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and computer literacy.
  • Ability to work bilingually (English required).
  • Adaptability, initiative, time management, and the ability to work under pressure.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacist Assistant.
  • Further Education and Training Certificate in Pharmacist Assistance.
