Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking a Pharmacist Assistant to provide pharmaceutical care services within the dispensary and to support day-to-day dispensary administration.

The role requires Matric with Maths and HPCSA‑aligned Pharmacist Assistant qualifications, with strong customer service and accuracy. This permanent position is EE eligible and offers market-related remuneration.

Qualifications

• Matric with Maths is essential.
• Pharmacist Assistant qualifications per HPCSA for levels (Qualified, Post Basic and Learner Basic) are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care services within scope of practice per SOPs.
• Perform day-to-day dispensary administration.
• Maintain efficient stock control and administration, including repacking of medicine.
• Offer general health advice to customers.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric with Maths (Essential)
• Minimum requirements of the Health Professions Council of South Africa for the various levels as a Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic and Learner Basic)
