Job summary

Clicks Group in Cape Town is seeking a Pharmacist Assistant Post Basic to join our central pharmacy team and provide pharmaceutical care in line with SOPs. You will focus on dispensing administration and patient satisfaction while supporting day-to-day pharmacy operations.

The role requires a Post Basic qualification, at least 1 year in the role, and strong customer service skills, bilingual in English, with the ability to handle confidential information and work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist Assistant Post Basic certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year in a Pharmacist Assistant Post Basic role.
• Excellent customer service and patient-focused approach.
• Ability to follow SOPs with confidentiality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers professionally and maintain confidentiality.
• Administer scripts and capture related data according to SOPs.
• Accurately handle patient profiles and respond to queries.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other departments.
• Support Chronic authorizations and administrative duties as needed.
