Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Richards Bay is seeking a Pharmacist to dispense medications, provide pharmaceutical expertise to patients and healthcare professionals, and ensure safe use of prescription medications in our store.

The ideal candidate holds BPharm, is SAPC registered, and has 2–3 years in retail pharmacy with strong computer skills and knowledge of E-scripting.

Qualifications

• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) is mandatory.
• BPharm or equivalent qualification required.
• Grade 12/Matric necessary.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical dispensing.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Computer literacy including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately to customers.
• Provide pharmaceutical expertise to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure safe and effective use of prescription medications.
• Maintain pharmacy records and ensure SAPC compliance.
• Assist customers at Dis-Chem Richards Bay store.
