Job description

We require Sales Reps to promote and sell pharmaceutical products to dispensing doctors and pharmacies.

Position Locations

This position is available for reps in Gauteng, North West, Free State, and Northern Cape.

Minimum Requirements
  1. BCom Business Management, Pharmacy, or Marketing Degree (not BA or BSc degrees)
  2. Previous pharmaceutical sales experience
  3. Experience selling to dispensing doctors and pharmacies
  4. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products
  5. Willingness to travel to other regions and occasionally stay overnight
  6. Own car and valid driver's license
Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Driving Sales and Engaging Customers
    • Execute targeted sales plans focused on dispensing doctors and pharmacies within the designated region.
    • Visit healthcare professionals regularly to showcase and sell the company's pharmaceutical offerings.
    • Aim to achieve and surpass sales goals and business objectives.
    • Oversee product orders and maintain appropriate inventory levels at dispensing locations and pharmacies.
  2. Cultivating and Managing Relationships
    • Establish and nurture professional relationships with dispensing doctors, pharmacists, and key influencers.
    • Keep clients informed about product updates and industry news.
    • Respond promptly to inquiries to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
  3. Gathering Market Insights
    • Collect market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, new products, and marketing strategies.
    • Identify emerging trends and changes affecting sales strategies.
  4. Reporting and Administration
    • Maintain records of customer interactions and sales activities.
    • Generate reports on sales performance and market analysis.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  5. Providing Educational Support
    • Deliver training and product demonstrations to healthcare professionals.
    • Provide relevant product information to facilitate informed decisions.
  6. Contributing to Strategic Development
    • Participate in sales strategy discussions and planning.
    • Collaborate on product launch and customer engagement initiatives.
