Placements24 is seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Project Manager in Upington to lead development projects from R&D through regulatory submission and market launch. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, budgets, and resources, while ensuring stakeholder communication and regulatory alignment.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in a related field and have 7+ years in pharma project management with a PMP or equivalent; strong leadership and negotiation skills are

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Pharmaceutical Project Manager to lead critical projects within their R&D and commercialization departments in Upington . This role will involve overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of pharmaceutical development projects, from early-stage research through to regulatory submission and market launch. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders. This is a challenging yet rewarding position for a seasoned professional looking to make a significant contribution in the growing pharmaceutical sector of the Northern Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage pharmaceutical development projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.


• Develop detailed project plans, defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements.


• Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional team meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among R&D, clinical, regulatory, and commercial departments.


• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.


• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial performance.


• Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmaceutical regulations and internal SOPs.


• Communicate project status, key milestones, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.


• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical industry.


• Proven track record of successfully managing complex pharmaceutical development projects.
