Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Service Technician (PCO) in East London, South Africa, to deliver quality pest control services to clients and manage on-site operations. You will ensure safety, maintain equipment, and uphold company standards while building lasting client relationships.

The role requires a valid unendorsed code 08 driver’s licence, strong communication, time management and health, with prior pest control experience desirable.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent certificate.
• Fully qualified (NCPC) or PMA/PCSIB and registered with Department of Agriculture (P-Number).
• HACCP experience and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Providing quality pest control/management service to clients.
• Achieving standards of productivity as set by the company.
• Retention of existing clients.
• Complying with the Rentokil Codes of Practice and Rules of conduct.
• Compile necessary documentation for client and office after service is completed.
• Advise client on housekeeping, stacking and proofing requirements.
• Comply with legislation and regulations.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and clean at all times.
• Carry an adequate range of pesticides and equipment necessary to deliver service.
• Ensure company vehicle and image is protected at all times.
• Ensure usage of the correct Personal Protective Equipment.
• Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met.

Education
