Ecowize Pest Control and Hygiene Division is looking for an experienced and certified Pest Control Technician to be based in Cape Town.

Job Description

Ecowize Pest Control and Hygiene Division seeks a qualified Pest Control Technician. The role involves determining the most effective treatment methods for pest control and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to customers.

The technician must ensure all services are planned and executed according to customer agreements. They are responsible for the equipment and consumables used during service.

1. Inspect buildings and surrounding areas for signs of pests such as insects, rodents, and others.
2. Determine appropriate treatment methods and set baits or traps for pest removal.
3. Apply chemical solutions, powders, and gases to surfaces to eliminate pests.
4. Identify pests including rats, termites, snakes, wasps, ants, spiders, mosquitoes, and bed bugs.
5. Set mechanical traps, place baits, and remove dead rodents post-extermination.

Job Requirements

1. Grade 12 certificate.
2. P-Registration with the Department of Agriculture.
3. Ability to work flexible hours and overtime.
4. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
5. Key skills include:
