Pest Control Technician

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, identifying, and treating pest infestations in residential and commercial properties. The Pest Control Technician will work independently or as part of a team to provide effective pest control solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and determine the appropriate treatment plan.
2. Apply pesticides and other pest control treatments in accordance with safety guidelines and regulations.
3. Monitor and follow up on treatments to ensure effective pest control.
4. Communicate with clients to provide recommendations for preventing future infestations.
5. Document all services provided and maintain accurate records of pest control activities.
6. Stay current on industry trends and pest control techniques through ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Prior experience working as a Pest Control Technician or in a related field.
3. Pest Control License or certification preferred.
4. Knowledge of common pests and their habits.
5. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift and carry equipment.
2. Ability to work in various weather conditions and in confined spaces.
3. Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
