Firstrand is recruiting a Personal Financial Advisor to deliver holistic financial advice within the FNB branch network. You will leverage an established client ecosystem, digital tools and branch referrals to grow a sustainable advisory practice in a trusted financial services group.

The role focuses on comprehensive needs analyses, investment and life insurance solutions, and ongoing client engagement to achieve targets and foster long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Ability to conduct comprehensive financial needs analyses and develop personalised plans.
• Strong knowledge of investment and life insurance products.
• Consultative selling and successful lead conversion.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management.
• Clear communication and client engagement capabilities.
• Solid understanding of FAIS compliance requirements.
• Comfort with digital tools and technology-enabled advice platforms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial needs analyses and develop personalised financial plans.
• Recommend investment, insurance and wealth solutions aligned to client objectives and risk profiles.
• Engage customers within branches to build relationships and advisory opportunities.
• Convert qualified opportunities and referrals into new business.
• Maintain long-term client relationships through ongoing reviews and documentation.
• Meet or exceed sales, activity, AUM and API targets.
• Ensure accurate client records and compliant documentation.
