Job summary

FirstRand in South Africa invites an experienced Personal Financial Advisor to join the FNB branch network. You will deliver holistic financial solutions within a trusted banking brand and established client ecosystem, focusing on compliant advisory practice and growth.

You will leverage digital tools and branch relationships to drive AUM, API and client penetration while ensuring regulatory obligations are met. This role supports earnings through commissions and fees.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years financial advisory experience.
• Proven sales growth and client acquisition history.
• Bank/insurer advisory experience preferred.
• Experience with mass market or emerging affluent clients.
• FSCA FAIS qualification (NQF level 5+).
• RE5 completed; FAIS fit & proper for required categories.
• Full authorization for FAIS subcategories.
• Completed COB: Investments, LTI, Pension Fund Benefits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs analyses and develop personalised financial plans.
• Recommend investment, insurance and wealth solutions.
• Engage customers in branches to build relationships.
• Convert referrals into new business.
• Maintain client records and advice documentation.
• Meet sales, activity, AUM and API targets.
• Adhere to FAIS, governance and regulatory obligations.
