Personal Care Worker - Casual, Katherine NT
We have a new opportunity for a qualified and experienced Personal Care Worker to join our Home Care Team in Katherine, NT.
This role is available on an ad hoc casual basis only – Meaning, you will be offered shifts only when available – There is not permanent roster provided.
This role attracts an hourly rate of $35.01 - $36.55 / hour + 25% casual loading (dependent on skills and experience).
Your role as Personal Care Worker will see you travelling to people's homes and providing care and support within the consumers' home environment, undertaking cleaning, bed making, personal care including grooming, showering, mobility and assisting with meals.
You may also be required to assist with social support, taking consumers to appointments and shopping.
As the ideal candidate, you will bring previous experience in either Aged or Disability care. You will be comfortable travelling to people's homes to provide this care and able to retain a fully insured and reliable vehicle.
You will have a caring and understanding approach, whilst also able to understand a client's care-plan and delegated services provided by their My Aged Care funding.
You will enjoy travelling to people's homes and providing a service with a strong customer service attitude and respect.
