Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to the CEO. The role involves managing the CEO's calendar, handling correspondence, preparing presentations, and organizing meetings. Candidates should have proven experience in FMCG, exceptional organizational skills, and be proficient in MS Office. Fluency in English and Afrikaans is essential.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant to the CEO within FMCG.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English and Afrikaans.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Job description

  • Manage and coordinate the CEOs calendar, including appointments, meetings, travel, and events.
  • Manage all correspondence on behalf of the CEO, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials as required by the CEO.
  • Organize and attend meetings, taking minutes and following up on action items.
  • Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal / external stakeholders.
  • Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, and accommodation.
  • Support personal tasks and errands as requested by the CEO.
  • Ensure the CEO is well-prepared for all engagements.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, record keeping, and office supply management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant to the MD / CEO within an FMCG company
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in ENGLISH AND AFRIKAANS
  • Experienced in compiling board packs
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Professional discretion and confidentiality.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Qualification in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field advantageous
  • Own transport essential
