PERSONAL ASSISTANT / LEGAL SECRETARY TO THE DIRECTOR ASSOCIATE IN THE CORPORATE COMMERCIAL DEPARTMENT

The Ideal Candidate: We seek a high-performing, skilled, and reliable Personal Assistant with experience in a law firm or similar legal environment, preferably in small or medium-sized firms. The candidate should be self-starting, able to work independently, and capable of supporting the Director with executive, secretarial, and administrative tasks.

The responsibilities include:

  1. Providing high-quality administrative support, managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Typing, editing, proofreading, and finalizing documents.
  3. Diary management and effective communication practices.
  4. Preparing correspondence, legal documents, reports, and legal memoranda.
  5. Organizing and attending board meetings, drafting minutes.
  6. Updating matter files and maintaining records.
  7. Handling copying, scanning, faxing, and notes.
  8. Managing office supplies, mail, courier services, and preparing for meetings.
  9. Liaising with clients, counsel, and opposing attorneys.
  10. Ad-hoc office administration and follow-up on invoices.

Skills Required: Ability to work independently, strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of AJS is advantageous.

Qualifications and Experience: Paralegal certificate or related legal studies preferred; 5-8 years of legal industry experience required.

Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
