Job Purpose

Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to render secretarial support to a senior manager(s).

Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification) plus an accredited secretarial diploma and/or administrative qualification at NQF level 5 or relevant higher tertiary qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in supporting management or senior management.
Recommendation

Proven experience in working with systems, data, and reporting across a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Provide secretarial and receptionist support to the manager.
  • Render administrative support services.
  • Assist the manager with meetings and administration.
  • Support the management of the manager’s budget.
  • Study relevant Public Service and departmental policies and ensure proper application.
