Job Description

The role involves contributing specialist Business Process Engineering input into the development, maintenance, and implementation of the Process Science Framework. The goal is to enable the organisation’s competitive advantage and professionalise business operations across the Standard Bank Group by measuring and improving process maturity and operational efficiency with the client in mind.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct in-depth analysis to ensure effective and efficient execution of the organisation's products and services through optimized business processes.
  2. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Process Science Framework, covering strategy, policies, processes, procedures, standards, guidelines, training, objectives, metrics, and governance, aligning with international best practices.
  3. Provide specialist Process Engineering input to the setting of the Process Excellence (CoE) technology plan and the Group IT plan, ensuring adherence to relevant technology standards.
  4. Deliver comprehensive reporting to enable transparency and support effective decision-making.
  5. Develop and gain consensus on a process roadmap with tactical, short, medium, and long-term process improvement initiatives.
  6. Design and deliver practical process improvement solutions using structured disciplines.
  7. Monitor, track, and report on end-to-end process performance to demonstrate value.
  8. Identify opportunities and problem areas through analysis to enable competitive advantage.
  9. Implement continuous improvement projects to achieve financial benefits within set timeframes.
  10. Participate in relevant training to stay aligned with BPM frameworks and activities.
  11. Promote process thinking and build process teams by developing knowledge, skills, and attitudes among team members.

Final year undergraduate, Honours, or Masters Degree (completed or expected to complete in 2025) in:
