Job Description

This role involves creating AI and ML solutions, applying domain expertise to facilitate adoption across Standard Bank Group, and ensuring stakeholder needs are met. You will develop technical knowledge in ML concepts, software engineering (e.g., source control, CI/CD), major ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn), big data processing libraries (Spark, Dask), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). You will also work with structured and unstructured data, build end-to-end cloud solutions, tune pre-built AI services, and utilize data visualization tools (Qlik, Power BI, Tableau).

You will learn to:

• Apply engineering and math skills to analyze and prepare data for modeling.
• Use algorithms or develop new techniques to fit specific problems, leveraging cloud AI capabilities to enhance project velocity and reduce technical debt.
• Build and deploy AI solutions tailored to client needs to improve business outcomes and foster innovation.
• Collaborate with experts to translate business requirements into AI/ML solutions and present findings for recommendations.
• Conduct research and development to ensure AI strategies meet business needs.
