Job Purpose

Assist management in day-to-day store maintenance while providing excellent service and observing and maintaining all store policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Ensures the highest level of adidas service is given to each customer.
2. Completes sales transactions involving cash, credit, checks, etc., as needed.
3. Involved indirectly with ticketing of products and checking paperwork against received items.
4. Assists in product flow from stockroom to sales floor on a fill-in basis.
5. Assists in developing merchandise displays or follows suggestions or schedules provided by store management.
6. Attains proficiency with the point-of-sale system by acquiring system utilization skills and maintains integrity through adherence to policies and procedures.
7. Uses selling techniques such as add-on sales and describing technical information to customers to enhance salesmanship and reach sales goals.
8. Greets customers and assists them in finding products. Occasionally serves as a Greeter at the front door during busy periods.
9. Maintains general housekeeping standards.
10. Safeguards company assets.
