Job summary

A dynamic company in Cape Town seeks a Performance Marketing Manager who is passionate about data. The successful candidate will oversee campaign strategy including building, optimization, tracking, and reporting, while also working towards the growth of the Paid Media Department. Candidates must possess relevant certifications and at least 3 years of experience in performance marketing.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years experience with Facebook/Meta Ads & Google Ads.
  • Certification in Digital Marketing, Facebook/Meta, and Google Ads required.
  • Strong project management skills and experience with various ad platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily campaign optimizations and performance.
  • Develop and manage monthly and quarterly media plans.
  • Create reports using Looker Studio.

Job description

ENVIRONMENT:

A dynamic company delivering creative and results-driven solutions is seeking a talented Performance Marketing Manager with a passion for data analysis and a keen eye for maximising return on investment. You will be responsible for campaign strategy, building, optimisation, tracking, reporting as well as laying the foundation to grow the Paid Media Department. You will require a Digital Marketing/Marketing qualification with Facebook/Meta Blueprint & Google Ads Certifications. You must preferably have 3+ years’ experience with Facebook/Meta Ads and Google Ads including experience with LinkedIn, Twitter and TikTok Ads, proficiency with Looker Studio and tracking set-up and implementation of the tag/pixels. They are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong Project Management skills to champion the sales, systems and process for the department.

DUTIES:

  • Daily campaign management and optimisation (including but not limited to creating, implementing and monitoring campaign performance).
  • Monthly media planning.
  • Troubleshooting Paid Ads issues.
  • Develop weekly / monthly / quarterly / annual reports via Looker Studio.
  • Onboarding new Paid Ads accounts.
  • Ad copy editing/reviewing.
  • Campaign budget management / tracking.
  • Ad hoc admin tasks related to Paid Ads.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications -

  • Facebook / Meta Blueprint Certification.
  • Google Ads Certifications.
  • Digital Marketing or Marketing qualification.

Must have in-depth knowledge and experience using the below tools & platforms:

  • Facebook/Meta Ads (Preferably 3+ years)
  • Google Ads (Preferably 3+ years)
  • LinkedIn Ads
  • Twitter Ads
  • TikTok Ads
  • Setting up Paid Ads accounts (Preferably Facebook/Meta & Google)
  • Dashthis Reporting Tool (or similar)

  • Asana Project Management Tool (or similar)
