Join to apply for the Performance Marketing Lead role at Sage. This role will lead the AME Small & Accountants marketing plan and team, setting and delivering against the targets and revenue plans in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Lead for the AME planning process for small & accountants.
- Lead on trading interlock with sales & performance in the region – driving performance & optimisation.
- Drive collaboration, prioritisation, and execution through the UKIA digital & campaign hubs.
- This is a player manager role, leading 2 direct reports to shape and deliver the NCA, Accountants & Inlife plans.
- Location: 3 days per week out of our Johannesburg office.
- Accountable for delivering regional targets for NCA & Inlife marketing demand plans, covering new bookings, new customers, cross-sell, upsell/expansion, and retention for products including SBCA, SBCP, and Sage 50.
- Own and execute the marketing plan (strategic & demand) for AME Small & Accountants across all channels, in collaboration with RTR organization and through the annual budget planning process.
- Manage a team of 2 managers and 1 intern, overseeing weekly performance calls, hub interlocks, and regional sales trading.
- Interlock with UKIA digital & campaign hubs to construct, prioritize, execute, and optimize plans.
- Accountable for all marketing performance metrics and contribution to BU (units, ARR, trials, SQOs, MQLs, CPAs, LTV : CAC).
- Manage marketing budget.
- Collaborate with IC strategic teams for the Small segment & brand teams to meet BU requirements and ensure aligned priorities.
Skills, Know-How, and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a marketing management role.
- Results-driven with strong commercial acumen and KPI focus.
- Experience in fast-paced, sales-led organizations.
- Strong understanding of digital trading & assisted funnels.
- Experience working with B2B, B2C, and channel marketing advantages.
- Sound leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams.
- Exceptional communication skills for negotiation and influence at senior levels.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and influence cross-functional teams.
- Resilience and strong accountability.
