Job description

Southern Cross Schools is looking for an experienced Pedagogical Coach and Mentor to join our innovative school community on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities

  • Support teachers in refining and improving their classroom practice
  • Lead professional development, coaching cycles, and lesson planning
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, reflection, and innovation
  • Provide learner mentorship or counselling support where appropriate
  • Guide staff through curriculum, classroom management, and differentiation
  • Assist with the onboarding of international teaching interns

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in teacher development or academic coaching
  • Strong understanding of research-based teaching practices
  • A passion for holistic, learner-centred education
  • Excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills
  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • International teaching experience is an advantage
  • Familiarity with Southern Cross Schools’ ethos will be beneficial
