Job summary

Greys Personnel is seeking a reliable and physically fit Warehouse Loader to assist with loading and handling goods in a fast-paced FMCG environment in Uitenhage/Port Elizabeth. The role requires warehouse experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.

The position is a temporary peak-season contract with immediate start availability. Candidates should be based in or near Gqeberha and able to comply with safety procedures and timely dispatch targets.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 is required.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, loading, offloading, distribution, food services or FMCG environment is essential.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties.
• Must be based in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) or surrounding areas.
• Must be available to start immediately and commit to a temporary peak-season contract.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods, stock and products onto and off delivery vehicles.
• Assist with moving, stacking and arranging stock within the warehouse.
• Ensure that goods are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Check products against loading instructions and delivery documentation where required.
• Assist with preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring that the correct goods are loaded.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised loading area.
• Follow all warehouse health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational and dispatch deadlines.
