Job description

Opportunity for an experienced Payroll & Reporting Analyst. In this role, you play a key role in managing all aspects of the payroll process, ensuring accurate reporting and timely payments. If you have solid knowledge and understanding of payroll systems and processes together with accounting principles, and want to join a high performing financial services team, then this role is best suited for you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all aspects of the payroll process, ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Review all aspects of payroll and reporting.
  3. Liaise with Payroll Administrator, Talent, and Finance teams to maintain accurate employee data, ensuring all payroll related processes and records are updated and reconciled monthly.
  4. Monthly reconciliation between payroll records and finance accounting records.
  5. Produce a monthly analysis of payroll movements for management accounts.
  6. Manage payroll records, reports, and documents for auditing and legal purposes; main liaison for payroll audit.
  7. Responsible for workmen’s compensation regulatory requirements.
  8. Ensure strong internal controls related to payroll and reporting.
  9. Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations, assess the impact on company's payroll practices and implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
  10. Produce accurate and high-quality monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports on various employee data.
  11. Manage all relevant vendor relationships, Medical Aid, Group risk Benefits, ensuring efficient service delivery.
  12. Assist with annual salary review preparation process and ad-hoc projects.
