Job description

THE OPPORTUNITY

We have an opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team.

The purpose of this position is to ensure that group payroll processes are managed and supported correctly and efficiently.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Manage end-to-end processing of group payrolls for 9 countries.
  2. Manage staff and expand operations across 9 countries.
  3. Facilitate foreign employment, regulation, and tax input.
  4. Manage and assist payroll supervisors and administrators with the end-to-end payroll process.
  5. Bring efficiency to labour payments and payroll processes.
  6. Review all payroll hours imported for monthly and weekly payrolls via UKG Dimensions.
  7. Manage the release of all payslips via ESS portal as per payroll timelines.
  8. Oversee Group Leave Management Process.
  9. Assist Payroll Supervisor with all Payroll Payments.
  10. Handle all 3rd Party Payments and Bank Allocations.
  11. Manage Payroll Journal Process and Reporting to Finance.
  12. Administer all Payroll Queries via FreshDesk Portal.
  13. Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures; report necessary changes.
  14. Provide staff with maternity and termination documents.
  15. Resolve payroll queries on FreshDesk Portal.
  16. Assist with the monthly Group Tax Validation Process.
  17. Ensure all mandatory master data is completed and up to date.
  18. Support the Payroll Team with ad hoc duties and ongoing projects.
  19. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
  20. Implement new software and systems as the business grows.
  21. Maintain strong procedures.
REQUIREMENTS

Essential: At least 5 years' payroll management experience in a similar role, SAGE People experience, knowledge of African country payroll administration and payroll accounting, experience in high-pressure environments, good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Desirable: Large payroll experience, UKG Dimensions Workforce Management, G-Suite proficiency, QSR or retail branch network experience.
